I felt inspired to create the below Experiential design concepts for kosas. EACH MOMENT IS inspired by A KOSAS product and packaging experience. These concepts are my original work, built for a reimagined Kosas brief across retail, pop ups, events and global activations. I treat each exploration as a blend of spatial design, visual merchandising and experiential storytelling. Each idea marries big vision with production reality so it can be built, scaled and measured. These are rough drafts and first passes created for creative exploration.

kosas Cloud Set Mist Airport Installation & Photo Booth
A calm fuselage-inspired pop up turns the gate lounge into a soft reset. Rounded architecture, oval windows with a violet sky, a halo ceiling and wall-to-wall pale blue carpet frame a wing-shaped hero gondola and a compact photo booth. Cloud Set Mist is the right hero for airports because dry recycled air dulls skin; a weightless mist smooths and revives in-journey, is carry-on friendly and needs no shade match. Travelers want to look rested in selfies and under terminal lighting, and the Kosas customer values clean formulas, modern design and a quick mist-and-go ritual that takes under two minutes. The photo booth lets guests mist, take a portrait and leave with a branded keepsake while Kosas gathers opt-ins and measures trial.
Build with satin lacquered MDF casework, brushed aluminum trims and toe kicks, frosted acrylic cloud accents, low-iron glass caps and LED cove strips. Use a lightweight fiberglass or CNC foam window wall with hard coat. Floor in pale blue carpet or architectural vinyl. Photo booth is powder-coated aluminum with diffused ring light and tablet camera. Footprint about 20 ft diameter by 10 ft high. Wing gondola 8 ft by 3 ft at 42 in counter. Round tester bar 5 ft diameter at 36 in. Booth 4 ft by 6 ft plus 2 ft by 4 ft queue. Two 20 amp circuits total.
the kosas cloud reset lounge - park city, utah
The Kosas Cloud Reset Lounge is a warm minimal micro lounge for Park City, Utah during Sundance film Festival that turns dry mountain air into a simple ritual of comfort and glow. Guests step in from Main Street, breathe, then reset skin and set makeup before screenings. A clean white interior with a whisper of blush violet holds true-shade light at 95+ CRI so complexion reads honest. At the center, Cloud Set Pressed and Loose lead the story with Revealer and Plumping Peptide Gloss close at hand. A quick hydration check opens the experience, testers sit in clear acrylic cubbies at eye level organized light to deep, and a small printer hands each guest a set receipt with shade and finish notes.
The build feels calm and precise. Matte white surfaces, clear cast acrylic, and powder coated frames keep everything clean to the touch. Quiet humidifiers create a fine vapor that reads as cloud not fog while utilities stay hidden in base cabinets. An ADA bay near the entrance makes the ritual accessible. Outside, a single Kosas wordmark and plainspoken copy say exactly what this is. Inside, the vibe is skin loving and comfy. It is a piece of living brand art that fits Park City winter and photographs beautifully in the soft blue hour before a premiere.

Kosas Blush Loungers bring the brand’s soft-radiant blush into the real world at poolside clubs and on the beach during Art Basel Miami. Each sculptural seat scales the compact into human size so people can lounge inside the “pan” with the lid opened for shade or closed as a low ottoman. Translucent violet shells are molded in UV-stabilized FRP with a satin finish. Cushions are wipeable marine-grade vinyl over quick-dry foam in the exact blush pink. Hinges and hardware are stainless with a lock at a 110 degree open angle. Bases are weighted for wind on sand and secured on pool decks with discreet anchors and turf-safe pads. The look is clean and comfy. Materials feel smooth and skin loving. The result is a simple place to sit, try, and share that reads immediately as Kosas and photographs beautifully from every angle.

On the lawn at The Grove, Blush Lounge turns a Kosas blush compact into architecture you can lounge in. The round pavilion glows in frosted violet laminated polycarbonate over satin anodized aluminum ribs, with a clean white deck and high-gloss solid surface counters inside. Clear acrylic risers and 95+ CRI lighting make shade finding simple while product sits at eye level, organized light to deep. Scattered across the grass, oversized “blush chairs” open and close like the compact so guests can sit either way. The palette is calm and skin loving. Materials feel clean and comfy to the touch. It is a modern, photo-ready space to try, learn, and share where active skincare makeup meets LA sunshine and the Kosas voice reads instantly from across the lawn.

The Edition lobby pop up is conceived as a quiet piece of sculpture that behaves like hospitality. A soft lilac proscenium frames a curved “sip and swipe” beauty bar set on a blush carpeted plinth. Surfaces are high-gloss white solid surface for clean wipe downs. The bar base is fluted matte lacquer in lilac that reads architectural rather than retail. Product lives in clear cast acrylic risers arranged light to deep with removable stainless tester trays set flush. Two low-glare halo mirrors sit at 95+ CRI so lips and skin read true under the hotel’s warm evening light. The backdrop is a frosted resin shelf wall with a gentle cove and a quiet toe-kick glow that floats the piece above the marble floor. Potted palms tie into Edition’s signature greenery while the radius edges and low profile respect the lobby’s walnut, stone, and bronze palette. Guests are greeted with a still or sparkling sip, a quick hydration check on a handheld meter, then a guided swipe of Wet Lip Oil followed by a light set with Cloud Set. Power and storage are hidden in the bar. The result feels like an art installation that slipped easily into the Edition language and invites linger time without interrupting the room.

Blush Lab Paris is a quiet burst of color in the heart of the city. The space takes its cue from Kosas blush and translates that soft radiance into architecture you can step inside. Walls in low-iron glass and frosted panels glow from within. Fixtures in satin anodized aluminum and high-gloss solid surface feel clean and calm to the touch. Oval mirrors with 95+ CRI ring light make shade finding simple while products sit in clear acrylic cradles at eye level. The tone is skin loving and comfy with copy that speaks plainly. It is a place to try, learn, and share where active skincare makeup meets Paris street life and the brand’s clarity reads from the sidewalk.
